Offload\ntoken-heavy, low-judgment grunt work — web search, downloads, scanning big logs/codebases,\nrunning validators — to the local `agy` CLI in headless mode. `agy` eats the volume; Claude\ngets back only the small distilled answer and keeps the reasoning.\n\nBuilt for workflows like benchmarking a context-heavy system against competitors, where the\nsearch / download / validate legwork would otherwise burn a pile of Claude Opus tokens while\n`agy` sits idle.\n\n> `agy` is Google's official replacement for the Gemini CLI, which sunsets for individual /\n> Google One / AI Pro / Ultra tiers on **2026-06-18**. It authenticates via the system keyring\n> and exposes Gemini 3.x, Claude, and open-weight models.\n\n```\nyou ──▶ Claude (orchestrator, keeps judgment)\n            │  delegates closed, bulky subtask\n            ▼\n        agy -p \"<task>\" --model \"Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low)\"   (eats search/download/scan tokens)\n            │  returns ONLY the distilled answer (plain text)\n            ▼\n        Claude reads the answer ──▶ decision\n```\n\n## Install\n\n```bash\n# 1. Antigravity CLI (the worker)\ncurl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash\n\n# 2. the skill\nbash install.sh\n```\n\nInstalls to every Agent-Skills path (Claude Code, Codex/Amp/Goose, opencode, Antigravity,\nOpenClaw). Manual: copy `skills/antigravity-delegate/` into your agent's skills dir.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- **Antigravity CLI (`agy`)** — `curl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash`\n- That's it — `agy` prints plain text, so no `jq` needed.\n\n> **Name clash:** the Antigravity IDE ships its own `agy` launcher. If both are installed, keep\n> the IDE launcher as `agy` and rename the CLI to `agy-cli`\n> (`mv ~/.local/bin/agy ~/.local/bin/agy-cli`). The wrapper prefers `agy-cli`, then `agy`, and\n> honors `AGY_BIN=/full/path/to/cli`.\n\n## Usage\n\n```\n/antigravity-delegate \"<task>\" [--model \"Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low)\"] [--mode search|read|write] [--out FILE]\n```\n\nOr call the helper directly:\n\n```bash\nskills/antigravity-delegate/scripts/agy-run.sh \"<task>\" --mode search --model \"Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low)\"\n```\n\n| Arg | Default | Meaning |\n|-----|---------|---------|\n| task | required | one closed, self-contained instruction with a bounded deliverable |\n| `--mode` | `search` | `search`/`read` = read-only intent; `write` = auto-approve tools |\n| `--model` | `\"Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low)\"` | run `agy models` for the list; use a Pro/Thinking variant for reasoning |\n| `--dir` | — | scope tool access to a directory (`--add-dir`) |\n| `--out` | — | agy writes full output to FILE; stdout is a one-line summary |\n| `--timeout` | `5m` | print-mode wait timeout |\n\nModels on tap (via `agy models`): Gemini 3.5 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude Sonnet/Opus 4.6,\nGPT-OSS 120B — pick per subtask.\n\n## When to delegate\n\n`agy` runs on your Google One / Antigravity quota — **separate from Claude's tokens** — so\nanything it does well is tokens Claude never spends. Two buckets:\n\n| Delegate ✅ | Keep in Claude ❌ |\n|------------|------------------|\n| web search → answer | architecture / trade-off decisions |\n| download files/datasets | security-sensitive code or review |\n| grep huge logs/codebases | shipping code with no review |\n| run benchmark/validator → PASS/FAIL | synthesizing the final result |\n| summarize a giant file | anything tiny (overhead not worth it) |\n| **frontend/UI scaffold, boilerplate, codemod** (draft) | |\n| **generate unit tests** (draft) | |\n\nRule: delegate when the cost is *volume* or the value is a *reviewable draft*. Keep it when the\nvalue is a *final decision*. A draft from `agy` is an input to Claude's judgment, not a\nsubstitute — Claude reviews before anything ships.\n\n## Which model?\n\n`agy models` lists what your account can use. Route by subtask (quote the exact name):\n\n| Subtask | Model |\n|---------|-------|\n| search / download / scan / validate | `Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low)` — cheapest, fastest |\n| frontend/UI drafts, code-gen, multimodal | `Gemini 3.5 Flash (High)` |\n| deep reasoning / long-context | `Gemini 3.1 Pro (High)` |\n| correctness-sensitive code, test gen | `Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Thinking)` |\n| hardest reasoning / knowledge | `Claude Opus 4.6 (Thinking)` |\n| open-weight fallback | `GPT-OSS 120B (Medium)` |\n\nCheapest-capable wins; escalate only when the worker must reason or the draft must be high quality.\n\n## How it works\n\n`scripts/agy-run.sh` runs `agy -p \"<task>\" --model \"<name>\"` (adding\n`--dangerously-skip-permissions` in `write` mode, `--add-dir` to scope), and prints agy's\nplain-text answer to stdout. Exit codes pass through from agy; the wrapper adds `2` for bad\ninput and `1` for an empty response.\n\nSee `skills/antigravity-delegate/references/agy-cli.md` for the verified headless CLI reference.\n\n## Agent support\n\nShips Agent-Skills `SKILL.md` plus rule mirrors for Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Copilot, and\nCodex. Edit only `skills/` — the rest mirror it.\n\n## Contributing\n\nSee [CONTRIBUTING.md](CONTRIBUTING.md). License: MIT.\n"}
