Open [`examples/demo/wrapped.html`](examples/demo/wrapped.html) to tap through it, or watch [`wrapped.mp4`](examples/demo/wrapped.mp4).\n\n## What's in it\n\n| Card | What it shows |\n|---|---|\n| Commits | Your total, per active day, per repo |\n| Lines | Written vs deleted (lockfiles and generated files left out) |\n| Rhythm | A weekday × hour heatmap and your peak hour |\n| Latest commit | Your latest-night commit, with its message |\n| Streak | Longest run of days in a row, on a contribution calendar |\n| Busiest day | The single day you went hardest |\n| Languages | Top five by lines changed |\n| Ride-or-die file | The file you touched most |\n| Biggest commit | The largest change you made, and what you called it |\n| Messages | Your most used words, and one commit that sounded a little desperate |\n| Crew | The people you shipped with |\n| Personality | Night Owl, Bulldozer, Marie Kondo, Haiku Poet, Firefighter… or a name Claude comes up with for you |\n| Summary | One card with everything, made to be posted |\n\n## Install\n\n```bash\ngit clone https://github.com/monish-instinct/code-wrapped ~/.claude/skills/code-wrapped\n```\n\nNeeds Node 18+ and git. PNG export uses Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave. The video needs `ffmpeg`. No `npm install`.\n\n## Use\n\nIn Claude Code, from any repo or from a folder of repos:\n\n> Make my code wrapped for 2026\n\n> Do a Wrapped for this team's repo, everyone included\n\n> Wrapped of everything in ~/projects for the last 365 days\n\nClaude collects the stats, reads them, writes captions about *your* year (the 4 AM commit, the file you couldn't stop editing, the month you vanished), checks that nothing private gets quoted, then builds and exports.\n\n### Without Claude\n\nThe scripts work on their own; you just get the default captions.\n\n```bash\nnode scripts/collect.mjs ~/projects --year 2026 --out wrapped-out\nnode scripts/build.mjs --dir wrapped-out\nnode scripts/export.mjs --dir wrapped-out --video\n```\n\nOptions for `collect.mjs`: `--author \"name or email\"` (repeatable), `--everyone`, `--year YYYY`, `--last N`, `--since YYYY-MM-DD --until YYYY-MM-DD`. Write your own captions in `wrapped-out/copy.json` (see [`examples/demo/copy.json`](examples/demo/copy.json) and [SKILL.md](SKILL.md)).\n\n## Privacy\n\nEverything runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. The cards do quote commit messages, file paths, repo and collaborator names, so look before you post.
