Agile/Scrum agent team orchestration skill for Claude Code Agent Teams

Liorrr/agile-teamcommunitylistedunreviewed

Set up

Skills are installed by placing their folder where your agent loads skills.

The download comes from github.com/Liorrr/agile-team itself, not from our server, so what you get is exactly what its author published.

Install instructions come from the README

Skills do not use an MCP config. Follow the steps in the README below.

agile-team

An Agent Skill for orchestrating Agile/Scrum agent teams in Claude Code using the experimental Agent Teams feature.

What it does

Spawns a full Agile/Scrum team with proper role separation:

  • Product Manager (Sonnet) — verifies requirements, writes acceptance criteria
  • Architect (Opus) — designs solution, creates file ownership map
  • Engineer(s) (Opus) — skill-matched to task domains, auto-selected from your subagent library
  • QA Lead (Opus) — validates deliverables, dispatches sub-QA agents
  • Researcher (Sonnet) — gathers context before implementation begins

9-Phase Lifecycle

1. INTAKE — Parse task, detect sprint number from git
2. RESEARCH   — Scaled research (None/Minimal/Standard/Deep)
3. SPEC — PM writes requirements + acceptance criteria
   [USER APPROVAL GATE]
4. DESIGN — Architect creates solution + file ownership map
   [USER APPROVAL GATE]
5. COMPOSE — Auto-build team from subagent skills
   [USER APPROVAL GATE]
6. SPAWN      — TeamCreate + parallel dispatch
7. MONITOR — Track tasks, route blockers, handle content filters
8. QA GATE — Validate all deliverables before completion
9. CLEANUP — Journal, commit message, metrics (team stays alive)

Key Features

  • Auto team composition — scans ~/.claude/subagents/ and matches agents to tasks by skill overlap. Never spawns a blank agent.
  • 3 user gates — spec, design, and team roster must be approved before any code is written
  • Quality gates — universal + language-specific gates pasted into every engineer prompt
  • Wiring checklist — orchestrator connects new code to shared files after engineers complete
  • Content filter protocol — freezes and asks user when output is blocked
  • Max 7 agents per batch — wave dispatch prevents context overload

Install

npx skills add Liorrr/agile-team

Or manually copy SKILL.md to ~/.claude/skills/agile-team/SKILL.md.

Prerequisites

  1. Claude Code with Agent Teams enabled:

    // ~/.claude/settings.json
    {
      "env": {
        "CLAUDE_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_AGENT_TEAMS": "1"
      }
    }

  2. Subagent definitions in ~/.claude/subagents/ — the skill matches agents to tasks by scanning their skills: frontmatter. At minimum you need:

    • A PM agent (with planning/product skills)
    • An architect agent (with code-review/architecture skills)
    • 1+ engineer agents (with domain-specific skills)
    • A QA agent
    • A researcher agent

Usage

/agile-team implement user authentication with OAuth2

/agile-team refactor the payment module to support multiple providers

/agile-team add WebSocket support for real-time notifications

Customization

Project Presets

Add presets to your local copy of SKILL.md for project-specific defaults:

### `my-project`
naming: Sprint-{N}
dir: /path/to/project/
commit_prefix: "Sprint {N}:"
default_agents:
  engineer: my-engineer-agent
  qa: qa-lead
  researcher: researcher
skills_required: [relevant-skills]
quality_gates: [universal, python]

Then invoke with --preset my-project.

Model Tiers

The default tier rules (Opus for coders, Sonnet for non-coders) can be adjusted in your local SKILL.md.
