AI that works for everyone — not just developers.
The Problem
AI is one of the most powerful technologies ever built. And yet:
- 💸 It's too expensive. Consumers, companies, and the planet are paying the price — in dollars and in carbon.
- 🔒 The best features are locked behind developer knowledge. Agent skills, sandboxes, sub-agents, LLM wikis — these are transformative capabilities that most people have never heard of.
- 💬 It's still a chatbox. Despite years of progress, mainstream AI is still stuck in the chatbot paradigm — a blank text input staring back at you.
The technology has leaped forward. The interfaces haven't.
The Vision
Bluefin is a human-centric AI platform — built from first principles around accessibility, affordability, and the belief that the best AI tools should not require a GitHub account to unlock.
We are going back to basics:
- Design for people first. The trillions being invested in AI models and infrastructure are genuinely incredible. We want to make all of that power feel effortless and intuitive.
- Agent skills, not chat prompts. Pre-built, composable skills that users can discover, remix, and deploy — no prompt engineering required.
- Transparent and open. Open source from day one. Bring your own key (BYOK) as the default. No lock-in.

Setup
This project uses uv for dependency management.
