A Claude and agent skill for account mapping: give it target accounts or an ideal customer profile, and it returns the current people in the roles you name at each account, from LinkedIn's public pages, sorted into role buckets with coverage stated per account. It chains four Apify Actors: the Google Search Results Scraper, the LinkedIn Company API, the LinkedIn Company Employees API and the LinkedIn Profile API. Installs in Claude Code, Cursor, and other skills-compatible agents.
Disclosure: links use the author's Apify affiliate code; the routed johnvc/* Actors are built by the author. apify/google-search-scraper is maintained by Apify.
What it does
- Resolves each account to one LinkedIn company page before any people run, and joins people to accounts on the company slug, so a bare company name never maps the wrong company. CRM domains join on the registrable domain.
- Lists current employees by job title and city, with each employer checked on the person's public profile.
- Sorts people into the role buckets you asked for. Rows whose title does not name a requested role go to "role unconfirmed", and board seats, advisors and placeholder profiles are set aside.
- States coverage per account (found, verified, and the profiles LinkedIn counts for the company). A role it cannot find is "not found in public search", never an empty seat.
- Estimates cost before every run and starts with a small first pass of 3 people per account.
The same skill also handles talent mapping (a competitor's team by role and city) and CRM hygiene (which of your contacts can still be confirmed at the account, and who holds those roles now).
It returns no emails or phone numbers. It is not for org charts, former employees, tracking a named person, or any hiring, tenancy, credit or insurance decision about a person.

The skill lives in the apify-account-mapping/ folder. You can also copy that folder into your agent's skills directory. You need an Apify account and apify login or an APIFY_TOKEN.
Example prompts
- "Map the engineering buying committee at Duolingo, Ramp and Brex: engineering managers, directors of engineering and the VP of engineering. Three people per account is enough for a first pass."
- "Talent mapping: find three data infrastructure companies in Berlin on LinkedIn and show who is on their data engineering teams there, with where they worked before."
- "Here are 30 contacts from our CRM at Figma and Datadog, with their LinkedIn URLs. Which can you still confirm at the account, and who holds those roles now?"
Responsible use
Every step reads pages a signed-out visitor sees, with no LinkedIn account, login or cookie. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the people in your map and for honoring opt-out and deletion requests.
