Protect fidelity when “one more change” starts turning a reference into a redesign.

High fidelity is easy to claim from generated code and hard to preserve across iterations. A page may resemble the screenshot while using the wrong assets, breaking real states, or quietly restyling regions that were never authorized to change.

High-Fidelity Prototype treats the accepted reference as a contract. It freezes the baseline, marks the exact change surface, preserves unaffected regions, reuses real assets and system patterns, implements the required states and interactions, and verifies the result in a real browser at the reference viewport.

The value

The result is not just runnable frontend code. It is a versioned, inspectable prototype with a clear answer to three questions: what was allowed to change, what was required to remain identical, and what browser evidence shows the interaction actually works.

Modes

• Strict restoration — reproduce an accepted reference without unrequested redesign.
• In-place feature iteration — add a bounded interaction while preserving unaffected regions.
• Authorized redesign or polish — diverge only where the task explicitly permits it.

Requirements

The host agent needs filesystem access and a way to render or operate the prototype in a real browser. Screenshot comparison or browser automation is recommended for medium- and high-risk restoration work.

Interaction-design and completion-verification skills can improve complex workflows, but this package includes a self-contained fallback contract and does not require a particular companion skill.
