curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/aJesus37/jira-go/main/install.sh | bash
This downloads the latest release binary, installs it to ~/.local/bin, and installs the Claude Code skills.
From Source
git clone https://github.com/aJesus37/jira-go
cd jira-go
task build
Then install to your system:
# Install to user-local directory (no admin required)
./build/jira install
# Install Claude Code skills
./build/jira skills install
# Or install system-wide (may require sudo/admin)
./build/jira install --global
Download Binary
Download the latest release from the releases page, then run:
jira install
jira skills install
The installer will:
- Detect your operating system
- Install to a user-local directory by default (no admin privileges needed)
- Automatically elevate permissions only if required (for
--globalinstalls) - Add installation path instructions if not in your PATH
