Set up

Skills are installed by placing their folder where your agent loads skills.

The download comes from github.com/lloydhumphreys/skills itself, not from our server, so what you get is exactly what its author published.

Install instructions come from the README

Skills do not use an MCP config. Follow the steps in the README below.

Skills

A collection of skills for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and other AI coding agents.

SkillDescription
vizzyAuthor and maintain Vizzy diagrams (architecture, sequence, flow, class/ER/state, gantt, timeline, journey, charts, mind/concept maps) stored as Markdown in a repo's vizzy/*.vizzy.md files
adoption-frictionAudit why users would still hesitate to adopt a product even if it were free, grounded in the repo, and publish a ranked artifact with five mitigations per friction
react-performance-profilerAnalyze React DevTools Profiler exports, identify render bottlenecks, and apply targeted optimizations

Structure

Each skill lives in its own directory under skills/ and contains a SKILL.md that defines when the skill applies, what inputs it needs, and the knowledge it provides.

skills/
  {skill-name}/
    SKILL.md # Skill definition (frontmatter + instructions)
references/ # Optional deep-dive docs the agent loads on demand
    scripts/ # Optional helper scripts

Usage

npx skills add https://github.com/lloydhumphreys/skills --skill react-performance-profiler

Adding a Skill

  1. Create a directory under skills/ using kebab-case
  2. Add a SKILL.md with YAML frontmatter (name, description, metadata) and structured sections
  3. Keep SKILL.md focused — under 500 lines — so it fits in an agent's context window
  4. Add helper scripts under scripts/ if the skill needs them
