Resume Master

Resume Master is a portable, skills-only agent plugin for rebuilding professional resumes from source evidence. It combines source-coverage auditing, STAR structure, defensible metric inference, role targeting, XeLaTeX/PDF production, visual QA, and interview preparation.

The plugin keeps candidate-specific files and generated resumes outside the reusable skill. Unverified numbers are tracked as derived or simulated, disclosed to the user, and never silently presented as source facts.

Standards and compatibility

The repository uses the vendor-neutral Agent Plugins Specification 1.0.0 as its canonical package format. Version 1.0.0 is the current published specification and is marked Working Draft, so host adapters remain intentionally thin and replaceable:

The core skill is maintained once under skills/resume-master/. Host manifests are thin adapters and do not duplicate instructions.

Agent Plugins 1.0.0 clients can discover the root plugin.json and skills/ directory directly. Agent Skills-compatible clients can install skills/resume-master/ as a standalone skill. The included adapters support current ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code plugin loaders while those ecosystems converge on the portable format.

Install or load this repository URL using the client's plugin UI or CLI:

Distribution and enablement commands are client-owned and intentionally not standardized by Agent Plugins 1.0.0.

ChatGPT and Codex

Add the repository as a marketplace, then install the plugin:

Load the repository directly during development:

Standalone Agent Skill

Copy skills/resume-master/ into the skill directory recognized by your client, commonly .agents/skills/resume-master/, .claude/skills/resume-master/, or the equivalent user-level directory.

Optional XeLaTeX dependencies

The bundled PDF template requires a POSIX shell, XeLaTeX, and rsync; pdfinfo is recommended for page-count verification. Adobe font binaries are not distributed. If you have valid licenses, place these files under skills/resume-master/assets/latex-common/fonts/zh_CN-Adobe/:

The skill can still use other document-generation tools supplied by the host when the XeLaTeX workflow is unavailable.

Privacy and license

Resume Master has no bundled network service and does not collect data. Files are processed by the agent host and tools the user chooses. See PRIVACY.md, TERMS.md, and LICENSE.
