Turn any topic, opinion, article, product idea, or reference script into a Chinese short-video talking script and publishing package. It is designed for AI creators, knowledge creators, course founders, consultants, and content teams that need repeatable scripts they can record, revise, and publish.
Who Is This For?
- Creators working on AI, self-media, courses, consulting, or professional services.
- Anyone who often turns one idea into a short-video talking script.
- Users who need to switch between founder, sharp-opinion, practical-teacher, and casual-friend tones.
- Teams that want titles, cover copy, CTA, tags, and visual notes together with the script.
What It Does
Short Video Scriptwriter does more than draft spoken text. It classifies the input, selects a content mode, chooses a writing style, and returns a complete publishing package.
Core Capabilities
| Capability | What it helps you do |
|---|---|
| Topic to script | Expand one topic into a 30/60/90/180-second Chinese short-video script. |
| Multiple writing styles | Switch between founder-led trust, sharp opinion, practical teaching, and casual friend styles. |
| Research-depth decision | Decide whether recent trends, company actions, hiring, products, policies, or data claims need live fact intake or deep research. |
| Reference-pattern rewriting | Analyze a reference script or video structure and adapt the pattern to a new topic. |
| Publishing package | Generate titles, cover copy, comment CTA, tags, and visual notes. |
| Revision loop | Diagnose feedback such as “too sharp”, “not like me”, or “I prefer the previous version” before rewriting. |
| Pre-delivery QA | Check hook strength, style fit, specificity, anti-AI taste, duration, and recordability. |
Platform Compatibility
Designed to be portable across Codex, Claude Code, and OpenClaw.
This is a text-only workflow skill. It does not require API keys, external services, scripts, or private platform files. It only needs the agent to read SKILL.md and the bundled reference files.
For topics that need current fact intake, it uses whatever capabilities the current agent has available, such as search, browsing, file reading, connectors, or user-provided source material. If those capabilities are unavailable, it marks the relevant facts as unverified instead of presenting them as confirmed.
Install
git clone https://github.com/chemny/short-video-scriptwriter.git
Place the cloned folder in the skills directory used by your agent, or import it using your agent's own skill installation flow. Keep SKILL.md at the root of that skill folder.
After installing, start a fresh agent session so it can rescan skills.
Agent Notes
- Codex / Claude Code: place or import the full
short-video-scriptwriterfolder in a skills directory scanned by your agent. - OpenClaw: install the full local directory or Git repository so the bundled
references/folder is kept withSKILL.md. - Hermes: place the full folder under
~/.hermes/skills/, add the parent folder toskills.external_dirs, or install from a source that preserves the full directory. Do not install only a bareSKILL.mdfile, because this skill relies on bundled reference files.
Update
If installed with Git:
git pull
Quick Start
After installation, start a fresh agent session and try:
Use short-video-scriptwriter to write a 60-second Chinese short-video talking script about this topic: many people learn AI the wrong way; they should learn with real problems and practice.
You should receive:
- basic information: platform, duration, target audience, writing style, core opinion;
- script: hook, body, closing CTA;
- visual notes;
- publishing package: titles, cover copy, comment CTA, tags;
- QA checklist result.
Usage Examples
1. Founder-Led Mode
Write a 60-second Chinese talking script about why many people learn AI the wrong way. End naturally by introducing my AI course. Keep the tone stable and founder-led.
2. Sharp Opinion Mode
Make this opinion sharper: you are not unable to learn AI; you are using a student mindset to learn a tool.
3. Practical Teacher Mode
Write a 90-second Chinese short video teaching ordinary people how to use AI to turn a small idea into a working tool. Make it concrete and actionable.
4. Reference-Pattern Rewriting
Adapt this structure to an AI-learning topic: “You are not bad at side projects; you are using an employee mindset to do side projects. You think one more skill will make money, but what matters is finding a real need and delivering around it.”
How It Works
The workflow has five steps:
- Classify the input: topic, brief, article, reference script, or persona.
- Decide research depth: no research, fact intake, live research, or deep research.
- Select a content mode: basic script, viral rewrite, persona fit, publishing package, or multi-duration output.
- Select a writing style:
trust-founder,sharp-opinion,practical-teacher, orcasual-friend. - Generate and QA: return the script package and check style fit, specificity, factual safety, duration, and recordability.
