Slice Discipline — plan in shippable increments with named owners and done tests. An agent skill for coding agents like Claude Code.
Set up
Skills are installed by placing their folder where your agent loads skills.
The download comes from github.com/unixguru2k/slice-discipline itself, not from our server, so what you get is exactly what its author published.
Install instructions come from the README

An Agent Skills-format skill: work in slices — decompose implementation plans into shippable increments, each with a named owner and a done test that proves the outcome.
Works with any agent that reads SKILL.md skills (MACH-AI, Claude Code, ...).
Install
MACH-AI:
/skills install unixguru2k/slice-discipline
/skills activate slice-discipline
Claude Code (via the skills CLI — auto-detects Claude Code and installs to the right location):
npx skills add unixguru2k/slice-discipline
# Global (available in all projects)
npx skills add -g unixguru2k/slice-discipline
Or plain git clone:
# Personal skills (available in all projects)
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
git clone https://github.com/unixguru2k/slice-discipline ~/.claude/skills/slice-discipline
# Or per-project (committed with the repo)
mkdir -p .claude/skills
git clone https://github.com/unixguru2k/slice-discipline .claude/skills/slice-discipline
Claude Code discovers any directory containing a SKILL.md under
~/.claude/skills/ (personal) or .claude/skills/ (project) — no
registration step. The skill activates when your request matches its
description (planning, slicing work, delegating sub-tasks, deciding
whether a turn is done).
Other agents: copy this repo (or add it as a git submodule) so that SKILL.md sits in your agent's skill directory.
Updating (when vendored as a submodule)
cd <mount-point> && git pull && cd -
git add <mount-point>
git commit -m "Bump slice-discipline submodule"

Methodology: "Own the Slice" — Kent Langley (https://www.kentlangley.com/blog/own-the-slice/). The slice = INVEST (Bill Wake, 2003) + a named owner + a real-world done test.
