The Sovereign Grid Dashboard is the primary human-in-the-loop (HITL) interface for the Sovereign Grid governance framework. It provides real-time visualization of agentic status, health monitoring, and critical safety intervention controls.

Overview This dashboard acts as a gateway for human operators to observe and authorize high-intensity operations initiated by the Sovereign Grid backend. It ensures that no agent action exceeding predefined safety thresholds is executed without explicit human verification.

Core Features Operational Monitoring: Real-time visibility into current system status.

Safety Guardrails: Automatic detection and visualization of PENDING_APPROVAL states.

Human-in-the-Loop (HITL): Direct interface to approve or deny critical system recalibrations.

State Transparency: Continuous polling of the system grid-state for real-time updates.

🏗️ Engineering Decisions & Data Modeling To ensure Sovereign Grid remains performant at scale, we made deliberate choices regarding our data infrastructure using AWS DynamoDB.

We selected DynamoDB as our primary data store due to its ability to provide consistent single-digit millisecond latency at any scale. Our sovereign agents generate high-frequency event data and dynamic state updates; DynamoDB’s schemaless nature provides the unstructured data flexibility required to ingest varying event payloads without costly schema migrations. This allows our agents to evolve and add new capabilities while ensuring the dashboard remains highly responsive for end-users.

Data Modeling Strategy We employ a targeted access pattern to minimize query latency:

Partition Key (AgentID): Each agent is identified by a unique AgentID. This allows for direct, O(1) retrieval of an agent’s current state.

Sort Key (Timestamp or EventType): By utilizing a sort key, we maintain a history of agent activity, enabling the dashboard to render telemetry and event logs chronologically without needing expensive cross-table scans.

This design ensures that whether we are tracking one agent or one million, the database layer remains a non-blocking component of our sovereign infrastructure.

Technical Stack Framework: Next.js (React)

Styling: Tailwind CSS / CSS Modules

Backend: Amazon DynamoDB

Governance Integration: Communicates with the Sovereign Grid Python API for state management.

Deployment This project is configured for automated deployment via Vercel. Every push to the main branch triggers an automatic build and production update.
