Set up

Skills are installed by placing their folder where your agent loads skills.

The download comes from github.com/stolostron/submariner-release-management itself, not from our server, so what you get is exactly what its author published.

Install instructions come from the README

Skills do not use an MCP config. Follow the steps in the README below.

Codex Skills

Codex discovers repository skills through the relative .agents/skills symlink to skills/; no separate installation or skill copy is needed. Type $ to select a skill, for example $release-management:autorelease 0.25.1 or $release-management:release-ls 0.25.1. Use the displayed name if your client omits the plugin prefix. The skill files and release scripts are shared with Claude.

Start Codex at this checkout (or open a new session after updating it). Follow AGENTS.md for explicit argument binding in legacy examples. The link enables discovery; it does not change release-script behavior. In particular, normal autorelease execution writes to Jira and can push branches, create PRs, and enable PR auto-merge. It requires explicit authorization for those actions. Use --dry-run to preview.
