Set up

Skills are installed by placing their folder where your agent loads skills.

The download comes from github.com/james20141606/tasks-workflow-skill itself, not from our server, so what you get is exactly what its author published.

Install instructions come from the README

Skills do not use an MCP config. Follow the steps in the README below.

tasks-workflow-init

A Claude Code Skill that bootstraps a complete structured task management workflow for any new code project.

What it does

One-command initialization of:

  • CLAUDE.md — AI behavior constitution with RIPER-7 lifecycle (MODE 0-6) and risk grading (L0-L3)
  • .tasks/ — Task management directory with version planning guide and risk evaluation framework
  • .claude/commands/ — Slash commands for session handoff (/handoff.build, /handoff.exec) and daily reporting (/daily-report)
  • .gitignore — Auto-appends handoff.md

Features

  • RIPER-7 Lifecycle: 7 modes (Task Confirmation → Research → Innovation → Planning → Execution → Review → Task End) with automatic transitions
  • Risk Grading: L0-L3 risk levels with mandatory gates, artifacts, and workflow routing
  • Session Handoff: Save and restore context across Claude Code sessions via handoff.md
  • Daily Report: Auto-generate work summaries from git logs and conversation history
  • Version Planning: Solo-developer progressive planning methodology (PROGRESSIVE-PLAN.md)
  • Parameterized: Customizable language, git author, regression commands, and constraints

Installation

Claude Code (recommended)

# Clone to your skills directory
git clone https://github.com/YOUR_USERNAME/tasks-workflow-skill.git ~/.claude/skills/tasks-workflow-init

Manual

Copy the SKILL.md and references/ directory to ~/.claude/skills/tasks-workflow-init/.

Usage

In any new project directory, say one of:

  • "init workflow"
  • "bootstrap .tasks"
  • "初始化任务工作流"

The skill will ask for:

  1. Project name (required)
  2. Tech stack (required, e.g. "React + TypeScript + Vite")
  3. Response language (default: Chinese)
  4. Git author (default: from git config)
  5. Regression commands (default: pnpm lint && pnpm tsc --noEmit)
  6. Custom constraints (optional)

Then it generates all files with your values filled in.
